How to create your first group

Before you start

Decide whether you want a private or public group:

• A private group is for your own circle. Players join using the group's join code.
• A public group can be discovered and joined by anyone on uDink. You must join uDink Hosts before you can create one.

Use a clear group name, description and location so players immediately understand who the group is for and where it usually plays.

Create a private group

1. Open uDink and select Groups.
2. Select the + create action.
3. Enter the group's name and description.
4. Choose Pickleball, Padel or Badminton.
5. Leave Public group turned off.
6. Confirm the country and location.
7. Review the details and select Create private group.

Share the group's join code only with the people you want to admit.

Create a public group

Public-group creation is available to members of uDink Hosts.

1. Join uDink Hosts in the uDink app.
2. Return to Groups and select the + create action.
3. Enter a clear group name and description.
4. Choose the relevant game.
5. Turn on Public group.
6. Confirm the country and location.
7. Review the details and create the group.

Enter the group details, choose a game and decide whether the group is public or private.

If the public-group option is unavailable after joining uDink Hosts, close and reopen uDink, then check the group-creation screen again. Contact support if it remains unavailable.

Why create a public group?

As a uDink Host, you can get your own public group online:

• Anyone can discover, learn about and join your group.
• Your group can appear in the uDink public-groups directory with its own public group page.
• A clear public profile makes it easier for new players to find you and helps you grow your community.
• Group members can see your upcoming game sessions in the group, helping them be among the first to know when a new session is available.

Keep the group name, description, sport and location accurate so the public page remains useful.

Set up payments for hosted sessions

Before hosting paid sessions, set up your organiser payment account so eligible session proceeds can be processed and paid out through the payment provider available for your account. Current Singapore guides are available for a Singapore individual or a Singapore company.

Create your first session

Open the new group's Group Details page and select the + create action. Then follow How to create a session to set the date, venue, capacity, cost sharing and other session details.
