Create a group

1. Open Groups.
2. Select the create action.
3. Enter a clear group name and description.
4. Choose Pickleball, Padel or Badminton.
5. Choose whether the group is public or private.
6. Confirm the country and location.
7. Review the details and create the group.

Use the description to explain who the group is for and how sessions are organised.

Choose public or private

A public group is discoverable to the wider uDink community, subject to the app's current discovery rules.

A private group is intended for your own circle. Players join using the group's join code. Share a private code only with people you want to admit.

The selected group privacy also affects sessions created under that group.

Open and maintain the group

The Group Details screen shows the group profile, membership and upcoming sessions.

A group profile shows its description, membership and upcoming sessions.

Keep the description, game and location accurate. Add or maintain group venues where the management action is available.

Understand group roles

• The owner controls the group and its highest-level management actions.
• An eligible administrator can help manage a public group and may manage sessions or safety controls where the app shows those actions.
• A member can view and join the group's eligible sessions but does not receive organiser controls automatically.

Available actions depend on the group privacy, role and session state. If an action is not shown, the current account is not authorised for it.

Create and manage group sessions

Use the create action from Group Details to start a session. Complete its date, time, venue, players, cost sharing and minimum-player settings.

Each session has its own host. Public-group administrators can receive additional session-management actions where eligible; private-session management remains with the host.

Private-group membership

To admit a player to a private group, share the current join code through a trusted channel. If a code has been exposed more widely than intended, update it when the management control is available.

What happens next?

Review the Group Details page, invite the intended members and create the first session. Use group safety controls when conduct or membership needs attention.
