What Inbox is for
Open Inbox from the main navigation to find conversations connected to your uDink activity. Inbox can include:
- Private conversations with another player.
- Sessions conversations linked to a game you joined or host.
- Groups conversations for groups you belong to.
- Requests for private message requests that need your response.
The All view combines these conversation types. An unread count can appear on Inbox and on individual conversations.
Open and filter a conversation
- Open Inbox.
- Choose All, Private, Sessions, Groups or Requests.
- Select a conversation to read it and reply.
- Use the search field when you need to find a conversation by its title or recent message.
Opening a conversation marks the messages you have viewed as read. Session and group conversations remain tied to their original session or group; use those pages for the full session details or group-management controls.
Message another player
You can start a private conversation from a player in an eligible group or session, or from Inbox:
- Choose New message.
- Choose whether you know the player from a group or a session.
- Select the group or session, then select the player.
- Write your message and send the request.
The recipient may need to accept a message request before you can exchange further messages or photos. Do not send passwords, verification codes, payment-card details, bank details or identity documents.
Clear a conversation from Inbox
Swipe a conversation from right to left and choose Dismiss when that action is available. Clearing a conversation removes it from your current Inbox list; it does not delete the underlying group, session or private-chat record. A new message can make a conversation appear again.
If Inbox does not update
Check your internet connection, close and reopen uDink, and install the latest app version. If a session or group chat is missing, confirm that you still have the relevant participation or group membership and follow Fix missing session chat.
If Inbox still cannot load, contact admin@udink.app with your username, device platform, app version and the conversation type. Do not send private message content unless support asks for a redacted example.
What happens next?
Use Inbox for messages and conversation updates. Use Sessions → Joined for upcoming sessions connected to your account, and open the session itself for its current time, venue, participation and payment status.
