How to set up PayNow as a Singapore individual

If PayNow is available in your uDink Host Setup, you can add and verify the Singapore mobile number registered to your personal PayNow account. This is a separate payout setup from Stripe.

Before you start

Have ready:

  • The Singapore mobile number registered to your personal PayNow account. Enter the 8-digit local number; uDink supplies the +65 prefix.
  • The name displayed when someone looks up your PayNow number.
  • Access to that phone so you can receive an SMS verification code.

The registered name and mobile number must match your PayNow details. Never share your verification code with anyone.

Add your personal PayNow details

  1. Open uDink and go to Profile.
  2. Under Support, select Host Setup.
  3. Choose PayNow and select Personal as the account type.
  4. Enter the name displayed when someone looks up your PayNow number.
  5. Enter the 8-digit Singapore mobile number registered to PayNow.
  6. Select Send verification code and enter the 4-digit code sent by SMS.
  7. Select Verify and follow any further instruction shown in uDink.

If PayNow is not listed, it may not currently be available for your account or app version. Check the methods shown in Host Setup.

Check your setup status

Return to Profile → Host Setup and check the PayNow row. Follow any action shown there. A submitted verification code alone does not mean setup is complete; use the status displayed in uDink to confirm whether PayNow is ready.

If verification does not work

  • Check that the mobile number is the one registered to your PayNow account and that you entered all 8 local digits.
  • Check the registered name against the name shown when your PayNow number is looked up.
  • Make sure you can receive SMS on that number. Request a new code if needed, and enter the latest code.
  • If the app continues to show an action or the status does not update, return to Host Setup and follow its instructions. For unresolved issues, contact admin@udink.app. Do not email your verification code or sensitive account details.

What happens next?

Once PayNow is shown as ready, it can be used for eligible host payouts according to the options and rules shown in uDink. See Organiser payouts for payout status and timing information.
