How to set up PayNow for a Singapore company
If PayNow is available in your uDink Host Setup, an authorised organiser can submit and verify the company details linked to its PayNow UEN or VPA. This is a separate setup method from Stripe.
Before you start
Have ready:
- The company name registered to PayNow.
- The company’s PayNow UEN or VPA.
- Authority to submit and confirm the company’s payout details in uDink.
Use the registered company name and identifier exactly as recorded for PayNow. Do not enter a representative’s personal PayNow details for a company setup.
Submit the company’s PayNow details
- Open uDink and go to Profile.
- Under Support, select Host Setup.
- Choose PayNow, then select Business as the account type.
- Enter the business name registered to the PayNow UEN or VPA.
- Enter the company’s UEN or VPA in the requested format.
- Select Submit for verification.
- Review the business name and masked identifier returned for confirmation. If they match the company’s PayNow details, confirm them in uDink.
If the details do not match, do not confirm them. Check the registered name and identifier and try again. If PayNow is not listed, check Host Setup for the methods currently available to your account.
Check your setup status
Return to Profile → Host Setup and check the PayNow row. Follow any action shown in the app. Submission is not confirmation that setup is complete; rely on the status displayed in uDink.
If the company cannot be verified
- Check the company name and UEN or VPA against its PayNow registration.
- Make sure the returned masked identifier is the one the company expects before confirming it.
- If lookup or confirmation fails, review the details and retry. For unresolved issues, contact admin@udink.app without sending full identifiers or sensitive company documents by email.
What happens next?
Once PayNow is shown as ready, it can be used for eligible host payouts according to the options and rules shown in uDink. See Organiser payouts for payout status and timing information.
