Who can settle
Settlement is available to:
- the session host; or
- for a public-group session, an eligible public-group administrator.
For a private session, only the host can settle.
When settlement is available
The Settle action appears after the session ends and remains available during the organiser review window, normally up to two hours after the end time.
If no eligible organiser settles during that window, uDink processes the session automatically.
Confirm the player count
After the session ends, the game host can adjust the number of players before settlement. Review the RSVPs and checked-in list, then set the player count to the actual number of people who played.
The final session cost is divided among the players only. The organiser is not automatically included; if the organiser played, include them in the player count. Only eligible reserved players with saved payment methods are charged through uDink.
Trigger settlement
- Open the ended post-paid session.
- Review the RSVPs and checked-in list.
- Adjust the number of players to match the people who played.
- Review the resulting cost per player.
- Select Settle.
- Wait for the session to update. Do not repeat the action while it shows a processing state.
Settlement locks after processing starts.
If a payment fails
The session may move to manual review. uDink can create an outstanding-payment request for the affected player. Successful player charges may still proceed to the organiser's payout record.
What happens next?
Check the session's settlement status and Host Payouts. If settlement does not complete, contact support with the session title and date; do not attempt to collect card details in chat.
