Why a payment can become outstanding

After a Reserve First, Pay Later session is settled, uDink creates each eligible player charge. A charge can fail because the card expired, the bank declined it, verification was required or the payment method no longer supports the transaction.

uDink can mark the amount outstanding and restrict the affected account from joining another paid session until it is resolved.

Open the payment request

Open the outstanding-payment request from the location offered by your app version:

  • a uDink notification;
  • Profile; or
  • the affected session.

Check the session title, date, amount and currency before continuing. Contact support if the request does not match a session you joined.

Resolve with a credit card

  1. Select the available resolve or payment-method action.
  2. Enter an eligible credit card through Stripe.
  3. Complete any bank verification.
  4. Return to uDink.
  5. Wait for the outstanding status to update.

Debit and prepaid cards are not supported for Reserve First, Pay Later recovery.

Do not repeat the action while payment is processing. Multiple attempts can make the status harder to understand even when only one amount is due.

Invoice fallback

Some recovery cases may offer an invoice or another Stripe-hosted payment link. Use it only when it is presented by uDink or sent through an official uDink support channel.

Confirm that the session, amount and currency match before paying.

If payment still fails

Check that:

  • the card details and billing information are correct;
  • the card supports online and off-session payments;
  • sufficient credit is available;
  • the bank is not blocking Stripe; and
  • any verification request has been completed.

Try another eligible credit card if available. Your bank may be able to explain a decline without disclosing card credentials to uDink.

Keep payment information safe

Stripe handles card entry. Never send a full card number, security code, banking password or one-time verification code by email or chat.

When contacting support, provide the session title, date, amount, current in-app status and the last four digits of the card only when needed.

What happens next?

Reopen the payment request and confirm that the outstanding status is cleared. Paid-session access can resume after uDink records a successful resolution.
