How to set up DuitNow payouts as a Malaysian individual

If DuitNow is available in your uDink Host Setup, you can add and verify the personal mobile number registered to your DuitNow account. This guide is for individual organisers in Malaysia. It is a different setup route from the Singapore Stripe guides.

Before you start

Have ready:

  • The Malaysian mobile number registered to your personal DuitNow account. Enter the local number without the +60 country prefix; the app supplies the prefix. The current flow accepts a 9- or 10-digit number starting with 1.
  • The full name registered to that DuitNow mobile number.
  • Access to the phone so you can receive the verification code by SMS.

The name and mobile number need to match the details registered for DuitNow. Do not share your verification code with anyone.

Add DuitNow in uDink

  1. Open uDink and go to Profile.
  2. Under Support, select Host Setup.
  3. Choose DuitNow. If you do not see it, this method may not currently be available for your account or app version.
  4. Enter the full name registered to your DuitNow mobile number.
  5. Enter your Malaysian mobile number, without +60.
  6. Request the SMS verification code, then enter the 4-digit code in uDink and select Verify.

uDink will submit the details for verification. Follow any further instruction shown in the app; verification may not complete immediately.

Check your status

Return to Profile → Host Setup and check the DuitNow row. When setup is verified, it can show Verified and ready for payouts. If it shows Verification in progress or asks you to take action, open DuitNow and follow the instruction displayed. Do not assume setup is complete just because you submitted the code.

Hosts receive payment the same day, usually within 1 hour after the session ends. See Organiser payouts for status and timing information.

If verification does not work

  • Check that you entered the mobile number registered to your DuitNow account and used the local number format requested in uDink.
  • Check that the registered name matches the name associated with that mobile number.
  • Make sure you can receive SMS messages on that number and request a new code if the existing code has expired.
  • If the app says action is required or the status does not change, return to Host Setup and follow the displayed steps. For unresolved issues, contact admin@udink.app. Do not email your verification code or sensitive account details.

What happens next?

Once DuitNow is verified and shown as ready, it can be used for eligible host payouts according to the options and rules shown in uDink. To begin organising, see How to set up your organiser payment account and How to create a session.
