Who can remove a player?
The session host can remove an RSVP player from an eligible session. An authorised public-group administrator may also have management controls for an eligible public-group session. Private-session management remains with the host.
The action is available only when the session and player status allow the change. A confirmed or locked participation may not be removable in the same way.
Remove the RSVP
- Open Sessions and select My Sessions.
- Open the session you host.
- Expand RSVPs or the player list.
- Open the actions for the player you need to remove.
- Choose the removal action shown, review the confirmation and confirm.
- Check that the player no longer appears as an active participant.
The exact button label can vary by app version and session state. If no removal action is shown, do not use a group blacklist as a substitute; contact support for the session-specific issue.
What happens to money paid?
When a player is removed from an eligible session, any money they paid through uDink is refunded through the payment flow. The session and payment statuses may update separately, and the app or payment provider may take time to display the refund.
For a post-paid reservation that has not been charged, removing the player prevents that reservation from being included in the remaining charge. If a payment has already been collected, the paid amount is refunded as part of the eligible removal flow.
After removal
Review the updated RSVP list, capacity and any waitlist movement. Do not share payment details or ask the player to send bank information in chat.
If the player or refund status is not updated, contact admin@udink.app with the session title, date, player username and displayed status. Do not include full card details or verification codes.
What happens next?
The player should no longer appear as an active participant. Review the session capacity and any waitlist changes, and check the payment status separately if a refund was due.
